“ I found a gem Vietnamese restaurant in DT. Food is quite tasty and fresh, service is also great and patient. In addition, their Kitchen and table are super clean and tidy. I definitely will come back to try something else. ”
“ Liked the clean ambiance at first glance. Food was tasty and quantity was good. Stuffs were courteous but not very chatty. Although I wish they had more Vietnamese beverages. The only one available is ice coffee. It is nice and looks very traditional. Skip the hot sauce if you are not used to the spices. It was a nice find, very conveniently located. Will come back to try other dishes. ”

“ Man Bean is a wonderful little Vietnamese restaurant just a couple of blocks from the waterfront. We thoroughly enjoyed the food there and the conversation with the owner (not sure if he was the owner or the manager?). He was so kind and gave us lots of great advice for where to spend our time while we were visiting Halifax. The food was delicious! I had the vermicelli bowl with grilled pork on both of our visits (yes, we ate there twice over a week’s time :) and my husband also tried the curry chicken - both were DELICIOUS! No, it’s not on the waterfront, but it’s very close by and the prices are much more reasonable than what’s available on the waterfront. I recommend eating there for lunch or dinner and then getting dessert on the boardwalk. ”
